4 Day Garden Route Tours | CapeTowning Tours

Day 1: Friday: Cape Town to Sedgefield via Oudtshoorn (Early Pickups)

We depart Cape Town early morning and head down Route 62 toward the town of Oudtshoorn, known as the “Ostrich Capital of the World”. Here you will have the choice of visiting the Cango Wildlife Ranch where you can do animal interactions or the Cango Caves where we go on a standard or adventure tour through some very large chambers with spectacular limestone formations that are millions of years old. Further along the adventure tour we start squeezing through some very tight spaces.  After Oudtshoorn we make our way over the Outeniqua Mountains to the seaside village, Sedgefield.

Travelling time: +/- 6.5 hours

Day 2: Sedgefield to Jeffreys Bay

This morning we drive through Knysna (voted South Africa’s favourite town) on our way to an elephant sanctuary where you will learn about and interact with orphaned Elephants (optional activity). Our next stop is the World’s highest commercial bungee jump at 216 meters high! After the adrenalin rush we stop at the Tsitsikamma National Park for a short hike and then drive to Jeffreys Bay where we will stay tonight.

Travelling time: +/- 3 hours

Day 3: Jeffreys Bay to Wilderness area
Waking up in one of the most famous surfing towns in the world without going for a surf or a surf lesson is highly frowned upon, so this morning you have time for both before going to the surf shops to score a bargain or two. We then start making our way back to Wilderness where we will stay the night and canoe on the Touw River in Wilderness National Park.

Day 4: Wilderness to Cape Town
After breakfast we make our way back to the Mother City via the N2 highway. Our first stop will be at a big 5 game reserve where we will do a safari game drive. Spot Lions, Rhinos, Elephant, Giraffe, Cheetahs and many more animals! Estimated arrival time is around 6pm.
