DAY 1: CAPE TOWN TO STRUISBAAI
Departing Cape Town our journey begins along the world-famous whale route in Gordons Bay for a stunning drive along the picturesque R44 mountain pass overlooking False Bay to the coastal town of Hermanus. After lunch and some photographs on the seafront, we continue to Birkenhead Brewery to sample some fine beers (or wine). We then head to the southernmost tip of Africa in Cape Agulhas National Park.
We visit the lookout point before we make our way back to our accommodation along “Die Plaat”, the longest beach in the Southern Hemisphere (if time allows). This is a relaxing travel day, to get you settled in for the tour ahead.

DAY 2: STRUISBAAI TO SEDGEFIELD
After breakfast, our first stop is the beautiful town of Wilderness, lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains Here we enjoy a canoe trip down one of the many tranquil rivers in the area, followed by a short hike to a stunning waterfall.
We then head to Sedgefield where we spend the night.

DAY 3: SEDGEFIELD TO JEFFREYS BAY
After breakfast we drive through Knysna on our way to the Crags where you have several options to choose from:
1 - Visit a sanctuary for orphaned elephants to learn about these gentle giants and go on an Elephant Bush Walk.
OR
2 - Visit a Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary where rescued monkeys roam free in a large jungle area.
Our next stop is for the adventure seekers…. Highlights of the tour . . . the Bloukrans River Bridge, home to the World’s highest commercial Bungy Jump at 216 meters! You have the opportunity to experience this adrenalin pumping activity. Afterwards we take a walk through the indigenous Tsitsikamma National Park to the Storms River swing bridges. We overnight at a backpackers directly on the beach in the famous surfing town of Jeffreys Bay.

DAY 4: JEFFREYS BAY TO ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK
There are 2 options to choose:
1 - Sleep in and take some time in the morning to explore the town's many surf factory shops, or go for a surf lesson in one of the most famous surf spots on earth.
OR
2 - Wake up early and head to Addo Elephant National park (home to the Big 5 and it also has the highest concentration of African Elephants in the world), where we go on a morning game drive to view the multitudes of wild animals.
We then drive back towards Sedgefield for the night. If time allows, we will visit the famous Knysna Heads (where the ocean meets the inlet to the Knysna Lagoon), for some amazing pictures

DAY 5: SEDGEFIELD TO CAPE TOWN – VIA ROUTE 62 & OUDTSHOORN
We head over the Outeniqua Mountains to the “Ostrich Capital of the world”, Oudtshoorn. Here we visit the Cango Caves to go on either an adventure (squeezing through some very tight spaces) or standard tour through some very large chambers with spectacular limestone formations that are millions of years old.
Alternatively, you can also visit an Endangered Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many local and exotic endangered species.
We then start heading home along the scenic Route 62 through the Klein Karoo.
Travel time: Sedgefield to Cape Town ± 600 km (± 7 hrs) | Drop off times can range from late afternoon to early evening and can vary between ±5pm - ±10pm.
