Our wine tour includes the characterful Die Bergkelder Wine Centre in Stellenbosch. It is the proud Home of Fleur Du Cap wines and offers wine lovers one of the most rewarding wine experiences in the Cape. Die Bergkelder is situated under the slopes of the historic Papegaaiberg.
Our wine tours gives you the opportunity to taste an inspiring range of award-winning Fleur de Cap wines in the charming setting of our famous “Cellar in the Mountain”. Here a fascinating short audio-visual presentation on the story behind Die Bergkelder and Fleur du Cap can be viewed.
This unique underground bottle-maturation cellar is the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Thousands of bottles of wine are born here in old French oak maturation casks. These casks also have carvings of various famous Cape wine landmarks and events.

Our Cape Town Wine Tours take us to Fairview Wine Estate in Paarl for some cheese & wine tasting. Afterwards we will continue along the famous Cape Winelands Route to visit Franschhoek for lunch.
In the afternoon we travel via Drakenstein Valley and Hells Hoogte Mountain Pass to the popular town of Stellenbosch. There we visit Oom Samie se Winkel (Uncle Samie’s Shop). This is a characteristic old shop full of surprises that has virtually stayed unchanged for 100 years!
Thereafter we finish off our Cape Town Wine Tours with a visit to Die Bergkelder Wine Centre in Stellenbosch. Here we will spend some time to enjoy a wine cellar tour and wine tasting.
After an eventful day exploring the majestic Cape Winelands, we make our way back to Cape Town for arrival at 5pm.
